Premixed concrete can be difficult and expensive to source in regional or remote areas. If you’re a long way from town, the premixed concrete you’ve ordered may already be starting to set by the time it arrives…that’s if you can get it at all.
It’s worth remembering industry guidelines recommend premix concrete should be placed within 90 minutes of when it’s batched. You can always set up a mobile batch plant for larger projects, but for many small to medium projects the costs just don’t stack up. And there’s still the problem of sourcing quality raw materials on a remote site.
Bulk bags to the rescue
