It’s no secret that tradies love a good pie. Well, someone has made a pie especially for tradies that’s big on everything growing tradies need.

Hipages has partnered with iconic Sydney pie cart – Harry’s Cafe de Wheels to bring tradies their own specialty pie.
Research from the CSIRO has indicated that tradies have some of the worst diets in the country.

This pie, however, contains 40 per cent less carbs and 20g of protein making it lean on the tummy and big on the gains.

“Tradie’s love for a meat pie is iconic,” Harry’s Cafe de Wheels owner Daniel Beuthner said.
“They are among our most popular customers and we see hundreds in our stores almost every day. In fact, we know it’s their second most popular choice of meal on site because they are quick, tasty and can be eaten with one hand.”

The pie contains chunky lean beef, vegetables such as carrots, peas, mushrooms and onions and is mixed with savoury peppercorn gravy.

All ingredients are locally sourced, with My Muscle Chef’s advance sports dietitian Ryan Pinto guiding the process.

“Given the labour-intensive nature of a tradie’s day when on the tools, and the fact that 85 per cent have more energy when they are eating better, it’s so important to give your body the right fuel,” he said.
“Having a protein-rich meal such as the lower carb Tradie Pie can help tradies stay fuller for longer and promote a faster recovery after a hard day’s work.”
