Aspiring South West Victorian sparkies will have access to more resources at the local TAFE.
South West TAFE – based in Warrnambool – will get a $1 million boost to the campus’ electrical training labs, workshops as well as simulation equipment.

“We’re helping all Victorians find a satisfying career in the trades by supporting accessible, high-quality and inspiring training that gives students the best start,” VIC Skills and TAFE Minister Gayle Tierney said.
“We are proud to back this project to boost the learning experience for Warrnambool’s future electricians.”
The investment in the facilities is said to have an impact on the TAFE’s 126 Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician students.
“We are excited to see these upgraded facilities at South West TAFE, which will allow more students to access training opportunities to pursue the career they want,” Member for Western Victoria Ermacora said.
