No-Dig Down Under

WHEN IT comes to plumbing and other trenchless industries, No-Dig Down Under has you sorted.

The list includes RIDGID – a well-recognised manufacturer of tools for professional trades. RIDGID has attended plenty of No-Dig Down Unders, becoming a mainstay of the event. RIDGID Queensland State Manager Darren Whittaker, has attended plenty of shows in his time, and loved the atmosphere No-Dig Down Under created.

“It’s massively important,” he said, “especially with so much technology coming out, such as cameras and locators.
“This year we’ll be displaying some of our camera systems for pipe inspection, location equipment, FlexShaft machines which are used for cleaning drains with soft blockages and descaling.”

No-Dig Down Under is regularly attended by hundreds of plumbers or plumbing contractors looking to see how they can improve their services.

“It opens doors for new industries and sectors which are on the rise and are getting creative,” Darren said. “Attendees are able to see what we can offer and, depending on which products, they can also see the product being demonstrated.”

IN THE TRENCHES

This year’s theme will be ‘better outcomes through trenchless’ as stakeholders come together to discuss how to grow the industry.

As well as having a chance to chat with some of the top dogs in the industry, there’ll be plenty of social events offering the chance for attendees to network. For those looking to grow their understandings of the industry, the Australasian Society of Trenchless Technology will deliver training sessions that can accrue CPD points.

No-Dig Downunder will be held between September 12-14. The trade exhibition is free, with online registration available. The conference, training modules and social events are paid registration.
