Queensland based Company, East Coast Bullbars (ECB), recently announced a three year deal as the co-naming rights partner for the Australian V8 Ute Racing Series.
The 2015 Series will now be known as the East Coast Bullbars Australian V8 Ute Racing Series, with a new joint logo to represent the rebranding. The ECB brand will also be visible on the windscreen strips of all 32 Race Utes. East Coast Bullbars, part of the AMA Group, has been involved in motorsport for the past few years with the Australian Rally Championship, and decided to expand their motor sport platform to include a major involvement in Australian V8 Ute Racing.
The announcement was made at a special launch function at the AAAA Automobile Aftermarket conference in Melbourne.
Australian V8 Ute Racing Category Manager, SPHERIX’S Bill West, recently had a tour of the onsite facility and was very impressed.
“East Coast Bullbars is a great fit for our unique brand, especially considering our style of racing. Their factory and product range is really impressive and they truly live up to their positioning as the world greatest bulbar. Motorsport has played a key role in their growth and development over the past few years, and it’s great to welcome another key Australian brand to the V8 Ute family,” said West.
East Coast Bullbars was established in 1972 at Clontarf, where they still remain today. They are the leading manufacturer of alloy frontal protection products, which are designed and manufactured right here in Australia, with over 200 distributors throughout Australia. In 2015, all V8 Ute practice, qualifying sessions and races will be broadcast live across a combination of the Fox Sports and TEN platforms, with digital coverage through Foxtel Go.
International coverage has been extended to include over 40 countries. The series will feature 24 races over 8 rounds, all on the V8 Supercar calendar including the following remaining rounds.
ECB is a regular in What Tradies Want and to add to the moons aligning their sponsorship comes just as we penned a deal with V8 Utes as a media partner.
You will now be able to get your copy of What Tradies Want at each round and we will do our best to cover some unique behind the scenes content and all the action on the track at this year’s V8 Ute series.
